EWMGA BOARD MEETING
APRIL
12, 2011
The Eagle Watch Men’s Golf Association (EWMGA) Board meeting
was started at 6:05 pm in the Eagle Watch Club House. All
Board members were present except Jim Gould, Sergio Silva
and Larry Terry. Scott Sszymoniak,
Phil Suiter and Rick Sandle of the Canongate/Eagle Watch
staff were also in attendance.
Scott discussed current course conditions particularly
noting that the greens are looking good at this time.
Erik Rosengren provided the Treasurer’s Report indicating a
current bank balance of $3,079.86 after proceeds and
expenses of the Shamrock Shuffle tournament were finalized.
This event added $140.00 to the EWMGA treasury. Erik also
reported that 2011 membership remains at 83.
Creme of the Crop
Tournament:
This event, scheduled for April 30th and May 1st,
currently has 66 players signed-up with a cut-off
established at 68 participants. Gary Janos and Sergio Silva
are the tournament co-chairmen. A 9:00 am shotgun will be
utilized for this tournament. A playoff, if required, will
be conducted on Hole #1. The tournament budget and
food/beverage arrangements were reviewed.
There was no further new business presented and this meeting
was adjourned at 6:55 pm. The next scheduled Board meeting
will be held on May 9th starting at 6:00
pm.
